This upgrade is part of the Technical Improvement Program (TIP); it replaces the older slitters with high performance
Tidland Series II slitters.
These slitters are mounted on a rack in individual holders, can be independently disengaged from the bottom anvils and are pneumatically adjustable for depth of engagement and lateral movement to the bottom anvil.
The pneumatic loading provides uniform pressure for optimum knife life and cutting conditions.
