PackageOne Installs First MaxPro
PackageOne is a large independent corrugated manufacturer in Madera, Calif., that produces shipping containers, point-of-purchase displays and contract packaging solutions. As the company continues to expand in the competitive California marketplace it requires state-of-the-art converting technology to meet customer needs. In October, the sheet plant installed the first MaxPro鈩 set-up-while-run rotary diecutter from 成人app (BWP) and its brand MarquipWardUnited (MWU).
The servo controlled MaxPro is robust, durable and highly productive. Featuring modern and intuitive controls, the 66- x 128-inch fixed-frame machine is simple to run and easy to maintain with outstanding productivity. The set-up-while-run process allows PackageOne operators to run one order while setting up the next order to achieve exceptional efficiency.
The MaxPro鈥檚 fixed architecture represents a new target market segment for 成人app and the MarquipWardUnited brand equipment. 鈥淭he market is moving more toward a fixed architecture product for a variety of reasons,鈥 Steve Biller, 成人app Senior Product Manager 鈥 Finishing, says. 鈥淏ox makers want to be able to set up the next job while running a current job. That鈥檚 a market that is growing in North America, and globally. We wanted to develop a productive workhorse that allows our customers to produce a lot of boxes at a low cost with high reliability.鈥
Robust Design
During the development stage of the MaxPro, 成人app asked customers around the world what features they would like to see incorporated. 鈥淭he technology built into the machine takes into consideration what the customer will need now and in the future,鈥 Biller says.
From end to end, the MaxPro features cutting edge technology. The full servo controlled feed table offers high performance and fully automatic setup, as well as rack and pinion drive of side guides and feed gates. A freestanding backstop allows for better operator and maintenance access.
鈥淭his machine has a fixed board line so all of the adjustments are done from the board line down,鈥 Biller says. 鈥淲hether it鈥檚 E-flute or doublewall, sheets travel through the machine on a level plane.鈥
